- Payment terms are net 30 days from date of shipment or as per mutual agreement, EXW 2010 Incoterms or FCA Worthington, Ohio USA depending on destination.
- A service charge of 1.5% will be applied on invoice amounts that are not paid within 30 days.
- All orders are for immediate release.
- No order cancellations within 48 hours of acknowledged ship date.
- Prices, terms & specifications are subject to change without prior notice.
- Drop shipments are not available outside of the United States.
Warranty Policy
Ohaus Corporation’s products are warranted against defects in materials & workmanship from date of delivery through duration of the warranty period listed below. • During the warranty period, Ohaus Corporation (OHAUS) will at its sole discretion, decide whether to repair or replace any component(s) that proves to be defective at no charge, provided that the product is returned, freight prepaid, to an authorized service facility. • Products must be deemed to have a manufacturer defect by OHAUS Technical Support or an OHAUS authorized service facility in order for warranty repair or replacement to be authorized or approved. • If the defect is found within 30 days of delivery, the product will be considered an out of box failure and is subject to a return and replacement. Any time after 30 days from delivery and within the warranty period, the product will be referred to an OHAUS authorized service facility to be repaired at no cost if determined eligible based on terms of warranty • The warranty period for OHAUS products shall begin at the date of shipment to the end-user, or 3 months from the date of shipment to the dealer by OHAUS, whichever occurs first. • This warranty does not apply where the OHAUS products have been subject to: accident, alteration, misuse, abuse, damage by accident or otherwise, exposed to radioactive or corrosive materials, has foreign material penetrating the inside of the product, failure on the part of the dealer or end-user to ensure proper storage, operation and/or maintenance, installation or servicing or modification by other than OHAUS or authorized service facility, or the addition or supply or products or parts not approved for incorporation into OHAUS’ products or software or interfacing. • This warranty only covers products shipped within the United States and Canada by OHAUS to the dealer, or to the end-user within the United States. • No other expressed or implied warranty is given by OHAUS. • IN NO EVENT WILL OHAUS BE LIABLE TO BUYER OR ANY OTHER PARTY FOR ANY TYPE OF SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, REGARDLESS OF WHETHER THE CONTRACT WOULD FAIL OF ITS ESSENTIAL PURPOSE. Such damages include but are not limited to loss of profits or revenue, damage to reputation, loss of customers, or claims of Buyer's customers or contractors for such damages. In no event will OHAUS’ aggregate liability for any and all types of damages or losses related to the equipment, software, or services sold, licensed, or delivered pursuant hereto exceed the cost of the item giving rise to the claim, whether based in contract, warranty, indemnity, or tort (including negligence). And any suit arising hereunder must be commenced within one year from the date on which the cause of action accrues
Return Policy
OHAUS Customer Service must be contacted for a Return Authorization Number (RAN) within 30 days of shipment to the dealer from OHAUS to be eligible for return credit. • OHAUS products returned for convenience or goodwill (not for product or part failure or warranty issues) will be subject to a 20% restocking fee, minimum $100. • OHAUS products may only be returned if they are in new and unused condition, packed in original packaging and container, and include all manuals, peripherals and accessories. Used products will not be accepted and not eligible for credit. • OHAUS products will be inspected once they are returned and a credit will not be issued if the product does not have a RAN, completed decontamination form, original packaging and original parts, or is used or damaged. • Returns must be sent to and received by our Ohio facility (AM Hub, 1150 Dearborn Drive, Worthington OH 43085) as specified in the Return Order Confirmation, or as specified otherwise by OHAUS, to be eligible for return credit. • Authorized returns not received by OHAUS within 90 days will be cancelled

You must also comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and codes of the countries in which you operate.
